The museum offers a variety of workshops, scouting adventures, after school programs and a summer museum camp program featuring science, creative arts and culture enrichment.
Children can explore the world of tropical rainforests in Rainforest Adventure. Take a learning journey into the sights and sounds of rainforests around the world. They can report the weather from a weather station, fly a simulated helicopter, and explore the way water moves through our world with a journey through the water cycle -- all while learning new things.

The Basics

- Open Wednesday - Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Tuesdays from 1 to 5 p.m. Between Memorial Day and Labor Day the museum is open every day between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.
