Located on the slight outskirts of downtown New Haven, Humphrey's East has been a long-time crowd pleaser for residents of the New Haven area. With a distinctly laid back atmosphere and simple décor consisting of wooden tables and chairs and a big screen T.V., it's the perfect place for a relaxed, low-maintenance night out with friends. However the newly spruced up back room (with its own bar) has dimmer lights and ample space for dancing. Go back further, and you will find a ceiling-less room with dart boards, pool tables, couches and a third bar—perfect for summer nights. The food alone is worth a trip.
