With gas prices now on par with the price of top-shelf liquor, it’s a bet that more and more Americans are going to celebrate this Independence Day by boozing it up from the comfort of their own backyards and balconies. And while that’s not necessarily such a bad thing (less pollution, fewer DUIs), if you were counting on a road trip it could be considered something of a letdown.
