Weeks of suspense were laid to rest at the Munch Madness 2008 championship match, held April 2 at the Hartford Wood-n-Tap location. Participants raced to the finish, gobbling up 12 Bar Bites as fast as mouths and throats would allow.

The "Elite Ate" were Team Manchetti and the Beer Bellies, winners of the Hartford competition; Team Willington and The Puppies, Rocky Hill semi-finalists; Unit 91 and Chazza Hazzers from the Farmington showdown; and Flatulicious and the Mafia Munchers, the crowned chowers from Southington's big match.
