The booze
The bar at the Margarita Grille offers a number of extremely enticing selections as well. You’ll find nine beers on tap, another dozen or so in bottles, mostly domestic offerings, but a few Mexican favorites seem to have snuck in there as well (Dos Equis!). A decent selection of both red and white wines are available either by glass (about $7 to $8) or bottle (anywhere from $24 to $42).
Premium tequilas are in abundance, everything from Cabo Wabo to Cazadores. You can even catch a tequila flight—three 2 oz. sampling sizes of tequilas accompanied by Sangrita Completo, fresh lime and a warm four tortilla for palate cleansing. You can fly anywhere from “Coach” ($12, Cazadores Blanco, Sauza Hornitos Reposado, 1800 Anejo) to “First Class” ($20, Cabo Wabo Silver, Patron Reposado, El Tesoro Anejo).
“Rocks” and frozen margaritas are, in case you couldn’t already tell from the name above the door, the house specialty. House margs are made with Sauza Gold tequila, and come in a variety of flavors—original, strawberry, mango, passion fruit, papaya, kiwi, wild blueberry, banana, coconut and raspberry.
