Finding the Richard Douglass House is not a hard task. if driving or walking down Bank Street look behind the Bulkely House and there she is. An 18th century jewel actually surrounded by other 18th and 19th century houses on a somewhat cozy sidestreet where redevelopment has forgetten with the exceptions of the hammer and saw of the local entrepreneur whom has painstakingling restored house and building one after another. A nice little cape dating to 1801. Just stopping by looking and seeing what the Douglass is about is enough to throw you back to the 18th century. Nice stop and easy to find. Bank Street to Golden Street - Straight fwd until Green ST and there she is!
