Silver Sands State Park
- 379 Meadowside Road
- Milford, CT 06460

Silver Sands State Park offers a beautiful beach, open for swimming and fishing. There is, of course, also the legend of Captain Kidd's buried treasure to lure visitors to this spot. The park is also home to heron and egret nesting sites, and it is closed from May-August to protect these wildlife treasures. Remains of a Catholic retreat from the 1920s also give kids something to discover after fishing!
