Still mad that the Arcade Fire didn't win a Grammy? Well, here's your chance to help them redeem themselves: the 2008 Plug Independent Music Awards, an awards show for indie artists and the little labels, magazines and bloggers that support them.

Winners in all award categories are chosen by fans on the Plug Awards Web site. To help you with your voting, we've created a handy little gallery of this year's nominees in the top music categories. (And no, we're not trying to influence you with the artists we chose to picture in the gallery…well, OK, maybe we are. Just a little.)

The Plug Awards take place this year on Thursday, March 6 at Terminal 5 in New York City and feature performances by Plug Impact Award honoree Nick Cave, St. Vincent, Dizzee Rascal and José Gonzalez. The show will be broadcast live online by Dell Lounge.
