Great Music, Great Wine Under the Stars

Connecticut may not be well known for its vineyards, but there are some gems in the eastern part of the state. The Buzz Bin's favorite is Jonathan Edwards Winery in North Stonington. Not only do they serve up some of the finest wines Connecticut has to offer, but they also hold some killer events year-round, including a standout summer music series.

This year, Jonathan Edwards's Summer Nights Music Series will be held every Thursday night in July on the winery's front lawn. Bring along a blanket and picnic dinner, pick up some vino and enjoy some great acoustic, jazz and bluegrass bands. This year, the series kicks off with two of our favorite New London Bands: the Paul Brockett Roadshow plays this Thursday, followed by the Can Kickers on July 9. Check out the full schedule here.
