Party Starters Bring Neon Indian to the Wadsworth Atheneum
The Wadsworth Atheneum may not seem like the most logical spot for live music, but the Hartford Party Starters Union appears to have found a new home there. Last month they brought in Brooklyn band Tanlines, and this Sunday they're upping the ante with multimedia buzz band Neon Indian.
For months, Neon Indian has been setting hearts aflutter across the blogosphere with its lo-fi, retro-flavored synth-pop. One of the more hyped underground bands of the year finally released its debut, "Psychic Chasms," last week. They'll be joined at the Wadsworth by Body Language, D.Gookin and Family Treasures. Showtime is 7 p.m. The event is free for Wadsworth members, or $5 for non-members. For details, check out the event page on Facebook.
