It's been four long years since we've seen No Doubt, so when they returned for a show at Mohegan Sun Arena last night they may have been a little older and a little wiser–but Gwen, Tony, Tom and Adrian still pack more energy than most 20-somethings, and boy do they know how to put on a show. Rocking a sleek black-and-white wardrobe and lighting scheme with a massive video backdrop, the band was tighter than ever and had the killer production behind them to match.

Check out photos from the show.

In many ways, it was the same old No Doubt that America has come to know and love. Bassist Tony Kanal still bounces around the stage with the best of them. Adrian Young is rocking a crazy look behind the kit. Tom Dumont quietly keeps the whole spectacle grounded from stage right, but picks the perfect moments to kick the showmanship up a notch. And Stefani, two babies in, is as ripped as she's ever been, and she absolutely owns the stage.

Without a new album to pull from, the tour is taking on a distinct greatest hits vibe, and that seemed to please most of the capacity crowd. The main set was bookended with beloved tracks from the band's breakthrough album, "Tragic Kingdom" ("Spiderwebs" the opener, "Just a Girl" the closer). The crowd response was enthusiastic regardless of the era the band pulled from, with uptempo numbers like "Hella Good," "Hey Baby" and "Ex-Girlfriend" playing nicely alongside "Tragic Kingdom" gem "Happy Now?" and, of course, "Don't Speak." They encored with "Rock Steady," a rousing cover of Adam and the Ants' "Stand and Deliver" (which saw Young getting out from behind the kit and venturing into the crowd) and "Sunday Morning."

Paramore and Janelle Monae opened the show.

No Doubt's 90-minute set went something like this: Spiderwebs, Hella Good, Underneath it All, Excuse Me Mr., Ex-Girlfriend, Happy Now?, Simple Kind of Life, Bathwater, Guns of Navarone (instrumental), New, Hey Baby, Running, Different People, Don't Speak, It's My Life, Just a Girl. Encore: Rock Steady, Stand and Deliver, Sunday Morning
