Sunny Day Real Estate: ready to lead emo out of the woods and back to respectability
Contrary to what you may have overheard at Warped Tour, emo (aka "emocore," "emotional hardcore" or "that whiny stuff your kid sister listens to while she's LiveJournaling") has a long, proud tradition that stretches back much further than My Chemical Romance. Is this the beginning of an old-school emo resurgence? And if so, who else might reunite to get in on the action? Here are 10 classic emo bands we wouldn’t mind seeing back on the concert circuit.—Andy Hermann, Metromix
