You couldn't have hoped for a more beautiful day for Sweetport '09, a free music and arts festival where Bridgeport's finest were on display inside and outside around McLevy Green on May 30. Headliners Mates of State teamed up with the Zambonis, Fuzz's Caravan of Thieves, Saint Bernadette, Cosmic Jibaros and M.T. Bearington for a diverse, consistently entertaining musical lineup, with Jason Hammel and renowned author Michael Azerrad DJ'ing in between sets. Check out our recap of the action in the Buzz Bin.
