Lobster rolls, steamers, and fried fish offerings are the specialty at Lenny & Joe's Fish Tale on the Boston Post Road in Madison, a family oriented, vintage New England seafood shack. Another popular draw at the Madison location (there's another Lenny & Joe's in Westbrook) is their carousel, the first new, all-wooden Dentzel Carousel installed east of the Mississippi in over 70 years. The carousel, constructed by the Dentzel Carousel Company of Port Townsend, Washington, in 1999, is set in a park-like environment in the restaurant's scenic picnic area and surrounded by a hand crafted wrought-iron fence. Rides cost $1, with all proceeds going to local charities.
