The New Deal Steak Place is a cute restaurant that draws them in in droves, due to the great prices (the name of the restaurant refers in part to President Franklin Delano Roosevelt’s New Deal promises, including “a chicken in every pot,” although chicken isn’t the prime entree here) and the good beef and seafood served here. The restaurant is always busy on weekends, and the crowds can be thicker in the summer, when the tourists tend to arrive en masse.
