A place where the whole family can enjoy hearty portions of good food at affordable prices, in a fun, friendly environment. The Texas Roadhouse chain of restaurants (there is another area location off Flatbush Avenue in Hartford) is known primarily for three things: fresh hand-cut steaks, thick and juicy fall-off-the-bone ribs, and impeccable service. Be warned, though, portions are plentiful, not for the small of appetite. The made-from-scratch sides and salad dressings are also worth mentioning, as are the honey-cinnamon butter coated rolls, served fresh and hot every time.
