The sign says "Frankie's: The Gourmet of Fast Foods." While "gourmet" might be a stretch, Frankie's does what it does very well. The casual spot's menu of grinders, burgers, dogs, fried seafood, sandwiches and other summer food favorites offers a welcome alternative to chain restaurant fare, but with the same pick-up-window convenience. Ingredients are fresh, portions are generous and well prepared, and service is courteous and efficient.
