The menu at the Tea House spans a big part of the globe, from Hong Kong to Vietnam, China to Thailand, with a smattering of Japanese teriyaki specialties. It's easy to assume that a menu this ambitious could be disappointing, but Tea House lives up to its culinary aspirations. The surroundings add to the sense of tranquillity. The restaurant is in a strip mall along busy Route 83 in Ellington, but inside, all is calm. The green and pink décor is accented by silk flowers on the tables and Asian art, including some beautiful fans, on the walls. Prices are also reasonable.
