Ciao Bella, part of a national chain of "gelatorias" that specialize in latte drinks and gelato, is on the same block as the Naples pizza joint. Ciao Bella also has panini sandwiches, crepes (a good place to get crepes, now that the ill-starred creperie on York Street has closed), and prepacked pints of gelato and sorbet (already found in the smarter supermarkets). One of the chain's best-known locations is in Grand Central Station, so the New Haven one means you can Ciao down on either end of your Metro-North commute. One drawback to this site: no place for customers to sit.
