Manhattan-esque decor

The look: One of the first things you’ll notice when dining at Heirloom is the fishbowl effect created by a long window in the dining room overlooking Chapel Street, which is situated not on street level but rather above it, giving off a slightly pretentious air.
A company based in Manhattan operates the restaurant, and it shows in the eatery's aesthetics—a sophisticated color palette of slate gray, brown and black is punctuated by cherry-red peppermills on each table. The only mystery of Heirloom’s look is the art: a huge photo of a bicycle on one wall and a giant mural of the signing of the Declaration of Independence on the other. Both seem a bit out of place, but thankfully don't detract from the dining experience.
