A fixture in the Elmwood neighborhood since 1985, Tapas is small to the point of being claustrophobic. But that doesn't deter the throng of customers who routinely stop by to enjoy fresh, creative Mediterranean cuisine. Maybe it’s because Tapas has no freezer, so all its food is prepared from market-fresh products purchased daily. Or it could be the daily blackboard specials that provide new dishes for even the most loyal diners.
