Gone are the days when denizens of Hartford County had to schlep to New Haven for decent pizza. Harry's in West Hartford, Wooster Street in Manchester and the Luna chain all turn out pies that uphold the fine tradition of Sally's and Pepe's. You can now add Campion's Pizza in South Windsor to that list, too. The nondescript restaurant, set in a quiet strip mall just down the street from the Buckland shopping district, dishes up zesty pizzas that would do New Haven proud. And unlike some of the Elm City's hipper joints, Campion's is an unpretentious, family-friendly eatery.
