Strada 18 has become my new favorite restaurant. They may have the best pizza I have ever had. The plain is great but it is worth trying the special combinations. Their clam pizza is better than Pepe's in New Haven. They say them make everything themselves and it shows. All teh food, bnot just the pizza is fresh. They make fresh mozzarella that is served warm and melts in your mouth. The wine list is pretty great. I had a Rioja and a Super-Tuscan by teh glass. I counted 33 wines by the glass and they must have close to 300 wines by the bottle. They also have some of teh best desserts of any restaurant I have been in recently. You have to try the caramel gelato. On top of everything, the place is nice looking and has a relaxed vibe and very friendly staff. This place is awesome on all counts.
