Sometimes you need your food fast. Don't turn to Taco Bell. You can eat some authentic Mexican just as quickly and for about the same price at Bulldog Burrito in downtown New Haven at York Square. You don't get waited on at the Bulldog, but you can grab some complimentary chips and dip at the front. If you want a drink, just snag your own from the case by the register. The food is prepared quickly, and it is delicious. When it runs at less than 6 bucks, it's the perfect meal. Even better than the cheap quesadillas are the Bulldog Burrito's business hours, Monday through Thursday until 1 a.m. and on Friday and Saturday till 2 a.m. Next time your stomach starts to rumble late at night in a Spanish accent, you'll know exactly where to go.
