Connecticut's largest indoor, year-round farmer's market. Owned and operated by the Lyman Family since 1741, Lyman Orchards is recognized as the ninth oldest family-owned business in America. Now in its eighth generation, a trip to Lyman Orchards can be a fun, and declicious, experience for the whole family. Customers can enjoy a delicious snack in the store while browsing the produce, bakery, grocery, deli and gift departments. Pony and hayrides are available on weekends during the fall. From June through October, you can pick nearly 100 varieties of fruit yourself. The orchard's two 18-hole golf courses are among Connecticut's top public courses.
