Downtown Hartford’s dining scene has certainly come a long way these past few years. And with the addition of the newly opened Dulce—a stylish Portuguese restaurant with an inspired menu, killer wine list and one heck of a view—you can add another worthwhile destination to Hartford's ever burgeoning list.

Perched on the eastern edge of Bushnell Park (near Vito’s by the Park), Dulce already has a leg up on the competition by offering patrons one of the prettiest panoramas in town. And you can bet that the restaurant’s airy interior, with its large floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Trumbull Street and the park beyond, is designed to fully showcase every inch of that spectacular vista. But the fashionable new eatery appears poised to succeed for a number of other reasons as well.
