At 3 p.m. on a Friday, with the work day two hours shy of welcoming the weekend, the holiday season was in its full, hectic prime at Westfarms Mall. The regal horse statue outside the mall's latest culinary desination, P.F. Chang's China Bistro, beckoned all hungry shoppers to take a delicious ride on the Asian Fusion train.
Since the restaurant's grand opening last month, it's been hard to ease away from the fevered frenzy that is Westfarms in December to enjoy the lush dining experience at P.F. Chang's without a 45-minute—or longer—wait, even in the mid-afternoon on a weekday. The popular chain boasts decadent Asian fusion cuisine and romantic ambiance for an experience unlike anything else in the area. So, wait or not, diners are learning why Chang's is the latest place to be in Connecticut.
