They sure lure you in with all the nautical gadgetry at Elmo's Dockside, but you might find yourself asking, "Where is the confounding dock?" Don't be fooled by all the multi-level pier stakes and pilings, the thickly braided ropes, the general maritime theme. Elmo's is a dive, to be sure. But, it's also a neighborhood favorite. Casual, with a laid-back, low-key bar, it's not the kind of place you go for amazing service. You go for a bunch of fried stuff, and that's what you get.
