Cambridge House is worth a drive from just about anywhere in Connecticut, and it's just gotten a little bit easier with the addition of a second location. The high-ceilinged restaurant and bar in the heart of downtown Torrington is a second incarnation of the original, so expect the same beer-infused entrées and local live entertainment. The beers and ales get high marks for their crisp, fresh flavors and rich body. The menu is casual upscale, with a classic American grill vibe and all the comfort food staples.
