The folks behind the Hazard Grill have pulled off a trick - they've managed to make a real restaurant that looks a lot like a homogenized chain establishment, plopped down as it is right next to Olive Garden and a bunch of other national retailers on the main commercial strip in Enfield. Once the elegant, exactingly prepared food arrives, however, diners quickly realize that the Hazard Grille isn't merely another link in a chain. That's Hazard with one "Z," so if you're expecting Daisy Dukes, the General Lee and the Dixie theme, you've got the wrong place. But the Hazard Grill does go in for a touch of played-up rusticity in the decor - with beach-shack-style corrugated tin foldout storm shutters, and hefty wooden trellis-like frames over some of the groupings of tables. The defining texture and tone is one of varied depths of wood grain. The interior isn't over-decorated.
