Shady Glen is Manchester's little gem, a family-run restaurant that's been serving up homemade ice cream and Bernice Burgers for the past 70 years. Decorated on the inside with gnomes and fairies in an idyllic scene, the restaurant is almost dominated by its large, wrap-around counter where diners can sit for a quick burger and fries. The booths are roomy and comfy, and well worth the wait.
