Dish is a saucy new player in the restaurant scene, a handsome charmer
that is dishing out some very accomplished takes on
upscale American comfort food. The look is industrial chic
(metal tones, oxidized
tones, black fixtures) is
softened by warm textiles
and accents. The use of
ropes of chains to divert
the eye from exposed
ductwork is odd; looks a
bit S&M-y, which probably
isn't intentional. Room
dividers made of glass
plates are nice touches. Downtowners
have embraced the bar,
turning it into a lively
after-work and late-night
hot spot. The big
windows looking out onto
Main Street help create a
hip vibe.
